Automated Daily Partner Updates in Slack: Claude Pulling Leasing Data Into Each Channel
By Alex Regueiro · October 25, 2026 · 5 min read
Local partners could not check their own pipeline or install status without asking someone, and the install trackers behind that status were updated by hand by a virtual assistant.

This is about a salon suite operator that works with a local partner at each location. If you run home service businesses through local partners or managers, the same self-serve update is worth building.
The situation
The acquisition team's weekly review surfaced a gap: a partner had no way to find out where things stand without asking the owner or the agency. There was no self-serve view of the pipeline or of install status.
Three more problems sat alongside it.
What was broken
The list from the review was short and specific. The manual tracker deserves a note, because a tracker kept by hand is only as current as the last time someone typed into it. Anything built on top of it, including a status update, inherits that delay.
- Partners had no self-serve view of pipeline and install status.
- Install trackers were updated manually by a virtual assistant.
- A disorganized shared drive and a lack of fresh footage slowed ad editing.
- A new caller could not book tours, because partner calendars were not visible in GoHighLevel.
What we built
The centerpiece was an automated daily update. Claude pulls data from the property management software and routes it to each location's Slack channel, so a partner reads the status where they already work.
- A source-of-truth ledger in Google Sheets, with lease-based install tracking still to be switched on, to remove the manual work from the virtual assistant.
- A refreshed paid social creative strategy, with city and offer overlays and seasonal urgency, to be relaunched across markets once the owner approves it.
- ClickUp's AI note taker connected to the owner's calendar.
- Partner calendars to be connected in GoHighLevel, so the new caller can book tours.
- Role and incentive documents drafted for the dashboard build.
What changed
Nothing had been measured yet. The first automated update was to be monitored once it ran, and the creative relaunch was waiting on the owner's approval. The change is in the direction information flows. Partners had no self-serve view before. Now status is pushed to each partner's channel every day.
The tracking is changing too. Installs are to be recorded from leases, which already exist, instead of from a person copying them into a tracker. Because the update draws on the property management software directly, it reads from the same source the team already uses.
Start your own partner update
This section is advice. Before you automate a status update, answer four questions.
- What does a partner ask you most often? Start the update with that one answer.
- Where does the answer already live? If it is in a system of record, pull it from there instead of retyping it.
- Who watches the first post? Plan to monitor the first automated update before you rely on it.
- What is the smallest useful version? One channel, one message and one data source is enough to start. Add the next number only after your partners confirm the first one helps.
Frequently asked questions
How does Claude post daily updates to a Slack channel?
Claude pulls the data from the property management software and routes it to each location's Slack channel. We planned to monitor the first automated update before treating it as dependable, which is how we suggest introducing any new automation.
Why track installs from leases instead of by hand?
A lease is a record that already exists, so tracking from it removes a manual entry step. The install trackers had been updated by hand by a virtual assistant, and the ledger in Google Sheets plus lease-based tracking is meant to remove that work.
What is city-plus-offer ad creative?
Creative with an overlay that names the city and the offer, with seasonal urgency added. We refreshed the creative strategy this way, with the relaunch across markets to follow the owner's approval.
Why connect partner calendars to the CRM?
A new caller could not book tours without seeing partner calendars in GoHighLevel. Connecting them lets the caller book against partners' real availability instead of asking each partner first.
