Buyer Lead Nurture Sequence in GoHighLevel: 118 Meta Leads and a Pipeline Cleanup
By Alex Regueiro · October 25, 2026 · 5 min read
A Meta campaign for a real estate agent produced 118 buyer leads, and none of them had an automated path to a conversation. Without one, every lead depended on someone remembering to message it by hand.

The client is a real estate agent running Meta lead ads for buyers. If you are one of the real estate agents and teams who get leads faster than you can follow up, this is how we started closing the gap on one call.
The situation
We reviewed the agent''s Meta ad performance on a working call. The campaign had generated 118 leads.
The follow-up side was another matter. The new leads had no nurture sequence waiting for them, and the agent''s existing GoHighLevel buyer pipeline was not ready to receive them.
What was leaking
Two things sat between a lead and a conversation.
The first was the missing nurture path. Without an automated sequence, a new lead gets a message only if a person sends one. That works for a handful of leads and breaks down at 118.
The second was clutter. The buyer pipeline was full of unused records the agent had never tracked. With old entries mixed in, it was impossible to look at the pipeline and see only the leads from the new campaign. A pipeline you cannot read at a glance is a pipeline nobody works.
What we built
We worked through the problem in order, starting with the leads that already existed.
- We uploaded the Meta leads into GoHighLevel using GoHighLevel''s built-in AI.
- We bulk-enrolled 100 of those contacts into a buyer nurture workflow so the sequence started right away.
- We set the junk entries in the buyer pipeline for bulk deletion the same day, so the campaign leads could be seen on their own.
- We committed to connecting the agent''s Ads Manager to GoHighLevel right after the call, so future leads flow straight into the nurture sequence without a manual upload.
- Until the automation was live, the new leads were to be messaged by hand the same day, so no one waited on the connection.
What changed
The stated outcome is the lead count: the Meta campaign produced 118 leads, and 100 of those contacts were enrolled in the nurture workflow. We did not receive appointment or closing numbers from this call, so none are claimed here.
The setup also works differently. Instead of stopping at the ad account, this batch of leads now enters a sequence, and the Ads Manager connection is meant to make that automatic for every lead after it.
Give new campaign leads their own clear lane
This section is advice for your own account, not a fact about the client.
Before you start a lead campaign, look at the pipeline the leads will land in. If it holds records you no longer track, archive or delete them first, or create a separate pipeline for the campaign. Decide what the first automated message is before the first lead arrives. Then plan manual coverage for the gap between launch and the day the automation goes live, so the earliest leads get a person while the system catches up.
Frequently asked questions
What is a buyer lead nurture sequence?
It is an automated series of messages that starts when a new buyer lead enters your CRM. In this case the agent''s leads were enrolled in a nurture workflow in GoHighLevel so a message sequence began without someone sending each one by hand.
Why clean the pipeline before adding Meta leads?
The agent''s buyer pipeline held unused records, which made it impossible to see only the new campaign leads. Removing the junk entries meant the people who answered the ad could be seen, counted and worked in one place.
How do Meta leads get into GoHighLevel automatically?
By connecting the ad account to the CRM. Here the leads were uploaded in a batch first, and the Ads Manager connection was the next step so future leads flow straight into the nurture sequence instead of waiting for a manual upload.
What if leads arrive before the automation is live?
Message them by hand the same day. That was the plan for the new leads here, to keep the gap between the form fill and the first contact short while the connection was finished.
