Enterprise Account Pipeline for Roofing Companies: B2B Leads in GoHighLevel
By Alex Regueiro · October 25, 2026 · 5 min read
A retail roofing pipeline is built for homeowners, and it handles builders and referral partners badly. A roofing company needed a separate pipeline for the accounts that could send it jobs again and again.

This story is about the owner of a roofing company and the production lead. If the same few names keep sending you work and your CRM treats them like one-time leads, read on. See our page for roofing contractors for the wider picture.
The situation
On a working call with the owner and the production lead, we used GoHighLevel's built-in AI to add three things to an existing roofing account: custom fields, scheduled tasks and a separate pipeline for enterprise accounts. A fourth need sat beside them, which was a way to train the staff on all of it.
What was broken
Retail jobs and enterprise relationships run on different clocks. A homeowner needs an inspection and a claim handled. A builder or an agent needs a relationship that produces jobs repeatedly. Put both in one pipeline and the second kind gets lost between the first.
The team also needed a way to learn the system quickly. A new set of fields and tasks is worth little if the crew does not know what to enter and when.
What we built
We worked live with the AI and reviewed each piece with the owner.
- Custom fields. The AI proposed fields from the pipeline stages and we approved them with the owner. The brief was use, not polish. One change came out of the review: a policy number field was dropped in favor of uploading the policy declaration pages, since the number is already on the page.
- Scheduled tasks. The AI built them in real time, in the same session.
- An enterprise pipeline for business-to-business leads. We defined enterprise accounts as custom home builders, insurance agents who refer more than average, realtors who work certain neighborhoods, and investor agents who need steady volume. We asked the AI for the best stage order and a simple set of stages that the owner could work from.
- A training deck. We sent the owner a master prompt that makes Claude produce a five-page slide deck for a 45-minute team session, with exact moments where each person must show on their phone that they did the step correctly before the meeting moves on.
- Sales practice. The owner was told to rehearse the enterprise pitch with Claude as a role-play and to spend the week closing home-builder and enterprise accounts.
What changed
No result was reported on the call. What changed is the structure. The account gained fields, tasks and a pipeline that match how the business sells to volume accounts, and the owner left with a prompt that turns the build into a short training session.
The accountability moments in the training deck matter as much as the system. Making each person prove the step on their own phone turns a presentation into practice.
Do you need an enterprise pipeline?
This section is advice for you, not a description of the client. If the same few builders, agents or investors keep sending you jobs, they deserve their own pipeline.
- List the partner types that send you repeat work.
- Give each partner one simple set of stages, such as first contact, pricing sent and first job.
- Keep custom fields to what your crew will enter this week.
- Train the team in one short session and have each person prove the step.
Frequently asked questions
What is an enterprise account pipeline for a roofer?
It is a separate pipeline for business-to-business leads such as home builders, referral agents and investors, who can send repeat work. It tracks the relationship over time instead of treating each partner like a one-time homeowner inquiry.
How do I train a roofing crew on a new CRM?
Keep it short and make it practical. Here a five-page deck supported a 45-minute session, with moments where each person had to show on their phone that they completed the step correctly before the meeting continued.
Which custom fields should a roofing CRM have?
Only the ones your crew will use this week. In this build the AI proposed fields from the pipeline stages and the owner trimmed them. For example, a policy number field was replaced by an upload of the policy declaration pages.
Can Claude help me practice a sales pitch?
Yes. Describe the buyer and ask Claude to play that person in a role-play. The owner here was told to rehearse the enterprise pitch this way before talking to home builders and other volume accounts.
