Facebook Lead Center Leads for Remodelers: Four Leads the Owner Never Saw
By Alex Regueiro · October 25, 2026 · 4 min read
Four leads were sitting in Facebook's Lead Center for a remodeling company, and the owner did not know any of them existed. They stayed unseen until we sat down with the owner and reconnected the ad account.

This is about the owner of a kitchen and bath remodeling company. It matters to any of the home service businesses that run lead ads, because the failure was not in the ad. It was about who had access, and where the leads were stored.
The situation
We had lost our Facebook, Instagram and Ads Manager permissions for the remodeler's accounts. Without them, we could not manage the ads.
When the owner and we reconnected on a call to sort that out, we learned that the owner did not know about the leads in Facebook's Lead Center.
What was broken
Two gaps were stacked on each other.
- Access: our permissions across Facebook, Instagram and Ads Manager were gone, so we could not manage the account.
- Visibility: leads were sitting in the Lead Center, and the owner did not know about them.
What we did
We fixed access first, then the path from lead to phone.
- All Facebook, Instagram and Ads Manager permissions were restored, so that we manage everything in one place again.
- The old campaign was set to be deactivated and the approved campaign launched in its place.
- A secondary local phone number was set up through GoHighLevel and set to forward automatically to the owner's cell phone.
- The owner was told to call the new leads immediately.
What changed
Four leads turned up in the Lead Center that the owner had not known about. That is the only outcome the call stated.
In the system, the change is that one team again had access to the whole account, and leads had a local number that rings through to the owner.

This is advice for you, not a description of the client. Open the Lead Center for your Facebook page and look at the form submissions. Compare what is there with what your CRM and your phone show. If the Lead Center holds names your CRM does not, you have found the gap.
- List who holds permissions on your Facebook page, your Instagram account and your Ads Manager account, and write down when each was last reviewed.
- Confirm that someone is alerted the moment a new lead arrives, and that the alert goes to a person who will act on it.
- Run a test lead through your own form to see where it lands.
- If you find old leads, contact them anyway and say plainly that you are following up on the form they filled in.
Frequently asked questions
Where do Facebook lead ad submissions go if they never reach my CRM?
Facebook keeps lead form submissions in its own tools, including the Lead Center, whether or not you connected them to anything else. That is where these four leads were found. If your CRM count looks low, look there before you assume the ads are not working.
Why does losing ad account permissions matter so much?
If the people running your ads lose access, nobody can edit campaigns, check the leads or fix a broken form. Problems can sit unseen for a long time. Keep a written list of who has access to each asset and review it whenever a team or vendor changes.
Why set up a secondary number that forwards to the owner's cell?
It gave leads a local number that rings straight through to the owner's phone, and the number itself was set up inside GoHighLevel. That keeps the owner reachable from a phone they already carry, while the number stays part of the system we manage.
How quickly should I call a new Facebook lead?
As soon as you can. A person who just filled in a form is thinking about the project right now. In this case the owner was told to call the new leads immediately, and the same rule applies whether a lead arrived a few minutes ago or was found late.
